Boy, this week folks we've got a terrific show! I got a new CD from a group called Rachel Burge and Blue Dawning and it's fantastic! You'll be familiar with Rachael as she sang and played the mandolin with No One You Know. We've played a lot of their music on our show and now we've got some new stuff with her new group. You want to join us this week as we play "Sisters of the Mountains" and "My Cold Heart" and particularly during cardio vascular exercise you want to hear Rachel play "Kentucky Mandolin". Got a lot of new music this week folks. Mama Corn sent us a new album and Ken Allison from over in Virginia sent us several gospel music CDs from groups me and the kitties had never heard before. So this week you get to listen to the new music too! Mama Corn is doing "Smoked Country Jam-O" and "Another Couple Days" (no that's not a misprint that supposed to be Another Couple of Days - the name of the song is Another Couple Days and it's a good'un). And Ken sent us Churchyard Grass and Thunder Creek and The Marshall Family and Cleo and Harley picked out some good stuff from the selections available. For instance: "Glory To His Name" by Thunder Creek and "When I Wake Up To Sleep No More" by The Marshall Family ( a fantastic gospel song!!!).
