Bio/Band Information:
In the shadow of the mountains of West Virginia, Bluegrass music goes hand in hand with a hard days work and a life of fresh country air. Born and bred in these West Virginia hills, The Douglas Brothers are a self-taught group of singer/songwriters with raw talent and a fresh blend of banjo, guitar, and bass. Mixed and recorded on their own equipment, these lonesome tunes cover many years of Appalachian History with songs like B.C. and G. Steam Engine, Little Boom Town, B&O Line, High Mountain Blues, Farms in the Hills, and Old Time Fiddler. There is a little something to be found for every Bluegrass fan with the Douglas Brothers.
Some songs are sweet and mournful and can bring a tear to the eye, while others, even the staunchest critic would be hard-pressed to avoid tapping along with.
